On November 24, 2007, Andy's first cousin, PFC Philip Diaferio of Endicott New York passed away three months shy of his 21st birthday due to a car accident while home on leave from the US Army. He was serving our country in Iraq and taken from us unexpectedly. A Memorial Scholarship Fund has been set up to honor him. All proceeds will be used towards a scholarship granted to a selected graduating senior from Union-Endicott High School in Endicott NY. Philip's family would be forever grateful if you could help contribute to this fund and keep Philip’s name alive. Thank you for your support.
Over the past three years of planning and dreaming it's hard to imagine that this run is finally becoming a reality. Originally, we had no real plans of doing such a run for any particular cause but much like life you can never plan for the unknown. With a few twists and turns, our 2008 NationRun has evolved into what you now see. Below you can find information on the charitable cause we are raising money for during our time on the road as well as beyond. All money donated will go directly to the fund.
